Morgan appeared in a documentary film Safe Sex for Men and Women about AIDS prevention and education. Some of the proceeds were donated to American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the primary driver in many fundraising campaigns to fight this disease. Morgan also gave a speech to an Congressional special committee that focused on AIDS education. Morgan is on the board of Governors of APLA along with Amfar. The former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop has requested her to substitute for him at AIDS occasions and has been the host of an AIDS Awareness Special with anchorman Steve Bell. She's appeared on Nightline alongside Ted Koppell regarding AIDS. Morgan has been nominated for an Emmy for the special Murphy Brown episode written by Diane English for her. Morgan was co-starring in the ABC show Your Money or Your Wife along with Joan Rivers. The summer began with Murder At The PTA Luncheon. The movie was created Von Zerneck/Sertner. It also featured Cindy Williams & Marla Gibbs. The second part of the project took Morgan to Luxembourg, where she starred in the role of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in Harmony Gold's production. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also featured. Morgan played a part in the psychological thriller that was exclusively produced by the USA Network garnering one of the most impressive ratings in the history of the network.
